The next instalment of, the Letter Series is: 10 things I would tell my 16 year old self. In the meantime, here is a poem I wrote at around that age. I used the word, thrust…
Shh! It’s only in my head
You’re here, with me
I feel you
The beat of your heart is all I care about
You slowly reach for me, your touch
I really think I want it too much
But it doesn’t make a difference
Because it’s only in my head
I’m in your arms, the only place
I would ever want to be
Your hand placed on my breast
Our bodies intertwined
Slowly you thrust yourself in me
More and more please don’t stop
I want you more
I cry out in joy and pain
But everything
Is still the same
Remember it’s only in my head.
