Thought -provoking metaphor, some strong medicine.
I’m glad that you think so and I appreciate your comment. Sometimes the strong stuff is needed. Thank you for reading!
oh wow! I can relate to this so so much! I loved how you put this into words!
I’m really pleased that you enjoyed it Carol Anne. Thank you for sharing your thoughts 🙂
I anticipate the cure for you is that which may be gotten from your milkshake. I will partake regularly. Nice piece.
Thank you so much! I’m happy you liked it. Remember to drink frequently, for best results John.
With you, Yes.
I like the colorful imagery, reminds me of the song White Rabbit.
Thank you Robert! I like the comparison, it’s a good song 🙂 Although I don’t think the song is about taking prescription meds…
The lyrics do seem to lean toward hallucinogens.
A bitter pill to swallow. Love the lines about the bullshit.
That is what so many of these meds are. You take it to help one ailment, and they cause so many side effects that are just as bad or worse.
Thanks a lot Andrew! I feel like prescription medication shouldn’t be the first answer. Sometimes there are simple solutions to ailments that can be solved or reversed with natural remedies, but too often the quick fix of taking a pill is the route we choose instead. Hope you enjoyed your trip 😀
I am wary of doctors who are quick with the prescription pad. There are always healthy foods and changes in lifestyle that can change one’s health without the use of meds.
I agree, a good doctor should be able to give more than one solution. Our bodies are all different and what helps one person to heal, might only cause more problems for someone else.
