In all honesty finding the good in this situation still feels like looking for a needle in a haystack. Fixing what is happening in our world is beyond anything we can control. The only real thing we have power over is ourselves. Who do you want to be at the end of this?
Life is throwing us obstacles, simplicity and freedom have become a faint memory.
We can sit around spewing anger at the universe for allowing it to shower this shitstorm on our existence. Or we can crawl out stronger, calmer, better people.
With tighter abs!
Why focus on something so insignificant in the midst of a catastrophe? It’s doable. It’s an attainable positive goal. Anyone who has worked out even once knows exercise is never just about what you look like. The mental health benefits come hand in hand.
At the end of this experience, I will be more fit. Won’t you join me?
Personally, I also plan on having a full on six pack. Only in perfect lighting!
I used to date one of the make-up artists who worked on the movie 300. Even the seriously fuckable Gerard Butler had a little help from his friend Mr. Airbrush, if you know what I mean!
Please remember that next time you are judging yourself harshly in the mirror.
Does not being able to go to the gym hinder our fitness plans? Hell no! I suspect some of us might continue to work out on our own once gyms start to reopen anyway.
I am interested to hear whether or not you will be returning to the gym when the quarantine is over. Let me know what you are planning in the comment section below.
The important question is, are you ready for a challenge?
I have found 3 brutal workouts that will make you sweat, cry and beg for hydration. These workouts kicked my butt, trust me you will be sore in all the special places…
The first HIIT Workout makes things as easy as possible with no equipment required. Everyone loves Burpee Jacks right?
Then we have Shadow Boxing HIIT which you can do with or without light hand weights.
Get creative if you don’t have a set of dumbbells, many regular household items from water bottles to soup cans are perfectly good ways to add extra resistance.
Lastly, we have a Dumbbell HIIT Workout.
Which of these sweat festivals do you want to conquer today?
Have a super awesome workout!

I absolutely NEED to work out to stay healthy…mentally especially. It’s a must for me and has been for as long as I can remember. And, I ditched gyms YEARS ago..no need for them (not for me anyway)..cheers!

Thanks for sharing Matt! I totally agree it’s a must for me too. It is encouraging to hear giving up the gym hasn’t made it more difficult for you to stick to your workouts. Happy Monday!😊
