Not long after publishing last week’s post, I was forced to deal with the hairy aftermath. My cat and I have been spending an enormous amount of time together during lockdown. He was not the least bit impressed with the dog GIF I shared.

Nero asked in cat language which I now understand, if I thought the dog was cuter than him? This was followed by the silent treatment for a few hours. Later, he woke me up to find out who I love more?

His demands keep increasing. 

I can feel myself cracking under pressure.

He has threatened to deprive me of extra beauty sleep! What he has in store for me will be a lot worse than his usual 5 am meow sessions for food. It isn’t satisfactory unless the bowl is completely full! Even if only one kibble is missing, the situation must be promptly remedied.

I have to find a way to make amends.
